Product Description

The KJ-20 Filter Paper Pore Size Tester is designed for determining the maximum pore size of filter paper and testing the aperture of oil filter materials, air filter element materials, filter cloth, and related porous media. It supports 5–150 μm pore size range, 0–20 kPa air pressure range, and 0.01 kPa pressure resolution.

This model helps manufacturers evaluate filter material pore structure, check fabrication integrity, and support quality control before filter media enters production. With automatic aperture calculation, LCD display, presettable parameters, data output function, and compact laboratory structure, it is suitable for R&D, inspection departments, filter manufacturers, testing centers, and routine material verification.

How the Machine Works

Sample preparation → Filter paper, oil filter material, air filter element material, or filter cloth is prepared according to the required pore size testing method.

Sample clamping → The test piece is fixed in the clamp ring to keep the test area controlled during pressure increase and aperture measurement.

Pressure setting → Test parameters are preset, and air pressure is increased within the 0–20 kPa range according to the required testing procedure.

Aperture calculation → The tester automatically calculates and displays the aperture value during the test, helping operators read the pore size result more conveniently.

Result output → The average pore size value for each specimen or group of specimens can be printed for material comparison, inspection records, or quality control documentation.

Engineering Features

Maximum pore size testing

The tester is used to determine the maximum pore size of filter paper and related porous filter materials, helping evaluate material filtration structure before production or inspection approval.

Wide filter material compatibility

It is suitable for filter paper, oil filter materials, air filter element materials, filter cloth, and other porous media used in filter manufacturing and quality inspection.

Automatic aperture calculation

The equipment can automatically calculate and display aperture values during testing, reducing manual calculation work and supporting more convenient laboratory operation.

Clear LCD display and preset parameters

The large LCD display allows operators to view pressure and test parameters clearly, while presettable parameters make repeated testing more practical.

Data output for inspection records

The tester can print average pore size values for single specimens and specimen groups, supporting quality control records and material batch comparison.

Compact laboratory testing structure

With an instrument size of 275 × 440 × 315 mm, this model is convenient for R&D laboratories, quality control departments, inspection centers, and filter material testing rooms.

What to Confirm Before Machine Selection

To confirm whether this model fits your filter paper pore size testing process, the following details are usually needed for machine selection or technical recommendation.

✓ Required material type, such as filter paper, oil filter media, air filter media, filter cloth, or other porous material
✓ Expected pore size range and required pore resolution
✓ Test piece thickness, sample size, and required test area
✓ Required testing standard, such as ISO 2942, ISO 4003, or internal material inspection method
✓ Need for LCD display, preset parameters, automatic aperture calculation, and printed data output
✓ Whether the tester is used for R&D, incoming material inspection, routine quality control, or third-party testing
✓ Laboratory power supply, sample preparation workflow, and whether it needs to be used with other filter paper testing equipment
